Questions to ask before hiring a DJ
May we call your references?
We encourage you to call our references!!
Do you belong to any professional associations or trade groups?
Essential Mobile Music belongs to the American Disc Jockeys Association and attends all major DJ work shops.
Will you allow requests?
We encourage requests!! Unless the song is inappropriate for the occasion we will play your quests requests on the fly. With PCDJ a song can be located in 5 seconds/no fumbling for CD selections.
How diverse is your music Library?
Essential Mobile Music belongs to Promo Only, we update our library weekly with current music. You will find that we have every song on Billboard,MTV,VH1 and Rolling Stone magazine.
How early will you be at the venue for setup?
Essential Mobile Music arrives 2 hours before each event. We like to setup with out stress. Microphone checks and Speaker placement are done in this time frame.
How will you be dressed?
You dress the DJ=Tuxedo=Suit=baseball uniform==we dress the way you want for your event.
Do you use professional gear?
We use only the best equipment in the industry. JBl EON speakers, Wireless Shure Microphones/Lavalieres, Dennon Mixers, PCDJ software, Pioneer CD players and American DJ lighting.
Are you insured?
Liability and casualty policies are in place to protect yourself, your quests and Essential Mobile Music.
Will you provide an emergency back-up system?
A backup sound system is brought to every event.
